What ingredients are used in Xerostom?

Active ingredients include:

• Betaine contains lubricating and osmoprotective properties on oral mucosa.
• Olive oil protects against infections, prevents cavities and fights halitosis.
• Fluoride and Calcium enables the remineralisation
• Xylitol prevents plaque from forming and adhering to teeth, controls the pH levels in the mouth.
• Vitamin E is an antioxidant.
• Allantoin promotes healing and regeneration of soft tissue.
• Vitamin B5 aids the healing of damaged tissues.
• Potassium diminishes tooth sensitivity.

The range of Xerostom products is sugar free, sodium lauryl sulphate free and alcohol free.

How do I use Xerostom?

Choose which combination of Xerostom products suit your lifestyle and use as below:

If you have/wear a dental prosthesis it is advisable to apply the saliva substitute gel directly onto its surface. Both mouthwash and mouthspray can be used in this way as well.

• Xerostom Saliva Substitute – Apply the gel and spread evenly along the dry areas using fingertips. Night time use especially recommended.
• Xerostom Mouthwash – Rinse for 1minute at least 3 times a day
• Xerostom Mouthspray –Spray directly into the mouth to relieve dryness. Repeat as necessary.
• Xerostom Toothpaste – Brush teeth for 3 minutes, 3 times a day
• Xerostom Dental Gum – Chew 1-2 pieces of gum whenever you experience dryness in the mouth.
