About Natralia Nourish Sunscreen
Natralia Nourish Sunscreen is non greasy, 4-hour water resistant and broad spectrum SPF 30+. It contains a blend of Green Tea, Grape Seed, Aloe Vera, Ginseng extracts and Vitamin E and protects from UVA/UVB rays with Titanium Dioxide (a mineral that deflects burning rays off your skin).
Natralia Nourish Sunscreen is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin and can be:
- Used on children over 2 years old.
- Chemical UV-absorber and Propylene Glycol Free
- Mineral Oil and Petrochemical Free
- Artificial Flavour and Fragrance Free
- DEA (Diethanolamine), TEA (Triethanolamine), MEA (Monoethanolamine), PEG (Polyethylene Glycol) Free

How does Sunscreen Work?
Sunscreen works by filtering (NOT blocking) UV radiation with a chemical barrier or a physical blocker that absorbs and/or reflects the UV rays away from your skin. Natralia Nourish Sunscreen is free from Chemical UV absorbers and works by filtering UV radiation with a physical barrier called Titanium Dioxide. Apply Natralia Nourish Sunscreen generously 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 to 4 hours or after towel drying, swimming or sweating. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Always use Natralia Nourish Sunscreen in conjunction with physical protection such as hats, sunglasses and clothing.
What is SPF?
SPF – Sun Protection Factor measures the protection of skin from UVA and UVB rays. UVA and UVB both contribute to sunburn, skin ageing, eye damage and skin cancer. Natralia Nourish Sunscreen is broad spectrum protection with SPF 30+ and protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays.
What makes a sunscreen SPF 30+?
SPF is calculated by measuring the amount of time required to produce the first sign of reddening on unprotected skin versus the time taken to produce the fi rst sign of reddening on protected skin.
For example: If your unprotected skin reddens in 10 minutes then a SPF 30+ sunscreen will give you 300 minutes of protection. SPF 30 X 10 minutes = 300 minutes
Why use Titanium Dioxide in Sunscreen?
Titanium Dioxide in physical sunscreen works by reflecting the photons of light up and out of the skin; so there is no absorption of energy. There is no chemical reaction and no free radicals are produced. When deposited as a thin film, its high refractive index and colour makes it an excellent reflective optical coating. Also, because of its high refractive index and resistance to discolouration under UV light, its stability and ability to protect the skin from ultraviolet light is enhanced.

How do the active ingredients in Natralia Nourish Sunscreen moisturise your skin?
Aloe Vera is a great moisturiser that helps to keep skin supple. Studies have shown that Aloe Vera improves the skin’s ability to hydrate and penetrate.
Ginseng revitalises and regenerates the skin. Ginseng contains qualities that are highly valued in skin care.
Tropical Green Tea formulations may reduce sun damage. Green Tea appears to provide sun damage protection by quenching free radicals. Therefore when used in addition to sunscreen, Green Tea may synergistically enhance sun protection.
Grape Seed contains anti-oxidant chemicals that may provide benefits to skin which has been regularly exposed to the sun.
Vitamin E provides moisturising properties for smooth silky skin. Vitamin E decreases harmful effects of solar radiation, UV induced damage and decreases skin redness after sun exposure. It can also help prevent free radical damage.
